The Cape Town Fynbos Experience® is an exploration of the unique culinary flavours, traditional uses and intangible essence of South Africa’s celebrated Fynbos in the form of a guided tasting with botanical heritage advocate Giselle Courtney. Learn to pair eleven of South Africa's indigenous culinary flavours with everyday meals and make accompanying culinary infusions, tinctures and concoctions and integrate the health boosting properties of Fynbos into a contemporary lifestyle.
Our Fynbos farm is on the slopes of the historic Hawequas Mountains overlooking the scenic Wellington wine valley. The Tasting Room is integrated into the modern farmhouse and aromatic tea infusions, cordials, vinaigrettes, infused salts, digestives and edible botanicals form part of a cascading tasting.
A culinary mixology follows in the form of tapas-style tasters and infusions with a Fynbos twist. Take advantage of our onsite shopping and guided walk through endangered Renosterveld.
